Lunar Eclipse
I just came in from watching the lunar eclipse from here in the north woods. I wish our digital cameras would pick it up but, they wouldn't. So here is a picture I got off the internet.
But, it is a perfect night for viewing it here. The air is cold and crisp (12 below zero) with a perfectly clear view of the moon and stars. They said that the defunct satellite that is going to get shot down should be visible tonight as well but, none of us was able to spot it this evening.
The picture above is pretty much what it looks like here only it is not quite as red along the right edge of the moon. Actually along the lower right edge it is glowing a little bit white. So what I'm saying is it is not totally red like in the above picture. Anyway it is pretty cool.
The ducks and geese were even outside the green house honking and quacking almost as if they were celebrating the event.
Well, have to go. Gotta go back out and watch!

We would have watched the eclipse, but the weather was miserable and cloudy!
I'm catching up with old friends! See you've accomplished quite a bit. I've left a comment about your chicken tractor set up- I'd like to copy it!
Blessings,
Christine
Hi Christine,
I commented on your comment at the chicken tractor post. And sent you an email, I think. Assuming that was an email address you put down there.
Blessings to you.
