Pics for the day
After a stint of Arctic like weather it was a little warmer today, about 18 degrees, so I took a little time to take some pictures. Of course "Tinkerbell" our woolly actress gets the first shot here.
Most of our sheep are Shetlands but we have Tinkerbell, which we don't know what breed she is and we have Zinnie, a Navajo-Churro, plus we have a number of Tinkerbell's offspring which are half Shetland. The Navajo-Churro is the taller one in the picture with the black face, middle and left.Sunday, December 12, 2010
A snowy blast

The other day our daughter was looking at a calender and she said, "did you know it's still fall?" I said, "I don't care what the calender says, this is winter!". Thursday, December 09, 2010
The Madness of a Lost Society
"The last sixty years has given birth to a moral disaster, and what have we done? Sadly, we must say that the evangelical world has been part of the disaster.
More than this, the evangelical response itself has been a disaster. Where is the clear voice speaking to the crucial issues of the day with distinctively biblical, Christian answers?
With tears we must say it is not there and that a large segment of the evangelical world has been seduced by the world spirit of this present age.
And more than this, we can expect the future to be a further disaster if the evangelical world does not take a stand for biblical truth and morality in the full spectrum of life.
For the evangelical accommodation to the world of our age represents the removal of the last barrier against the breakdown of our culture.
And with the final removal of this barrier will come social chaos and the rise of authoritarianism in some form to restore social order. "

A woolly actress
A church in Eagle River puts this on and it is very nice.
It's funny how well Tinkerbell does during the programs. She is never on a lead any other time through out the year. None of our other sheep will behave for this. But, the folks who used to own Tinkerbell have kids who led her around like a dog and she has always been very tame.
Tinkerbell is an accomplished actress!
Our friend Lenore owns the little donkey in this last picture. He was perfect for the role. He accompanied "Mary and Joseph" to the manger. Very cute!

Of course Tinkerbell the "ham" that she is had to get in the last shot.
