Turkey Day
We raised 4 turkeys this year. This big tom weighed in at 27 lbs all dressed out. We're saving him for Christmas. Today we are cooking a 20 lb female for a big family get together. These are some of the nicest birds we've ever raised. Lots of work but in the end it's well worth it. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

What is it?
We figure these marks on this white birch tree are from a black bear marking it's territory. Either that or it's from climbing, but I rather think the scratches were intentional. The middle picture is about 8 feet off the ground. Dude's got some reach though.
We found these marks several months ago.
