Drip, drip, drip, its breathtaking how quickly we are being stripped of our constitutional freedoms by these progressives who we ignorantly voted into office who are supposed to be protececting those freedoms. I do think that they are trying to cause us to rise up against them. Incompetano already has said that home grown terrorism is worse than Islamist terrorism, I think she's trying to force it, to prove that she's right.

Howdy Toongoon,

You’re right about the story of the boy who saw heaven. I believe that God does that from time to time with people. When I was 5 or 6, I saw my Grandpa in a dream once. It seemed like more than just a dream and makes an impact on me to this day. Also a man that used to work for my Uncle Joel had a near death experience and saw heaven. He described it to us in detail as tears streamed down his face. It was very moving to hear him tell it.

About the TSA and these over board body scans and pat downs. I see it as a slippery slope. Once we go down this road we’ll never turn back, unless there is a big enough outcry. I remember when I was a kid going with my parents to take my Grandma to the airport and walking through the metal detectors. It wasn’t long until we started seeing them in other public places besides the airport. As far as I know they are still using them in certain inner city schools. So I wonder when these naked body scanners and intrusive pat downs will be coming soon to a school near you. Or how about the local courthouse or post office. The library. I don’t think it is far fetched to imagine it going that far.

But, I think you could be right about them trying to force some kind of uprising. Which of course would justify them continuing with these totalitarian practices.

Thanks for the link.
