Some better pictures

These pictures are a little better than the ones in the last post. At least they're not as washed out. I went out today to try to get some better colors. I'm still not real happy with the colors. It might be the time of day with the sun shining bright around noon. Not enough shadow perhaps.

I couldn't believe how many more leaves had dropped just over night. It was cold last night in the mid 20's.

We have some ripe tomatoes still on the vine in the greenhouse, as well as peppers, eggplant, and celery. In the top picture you can barely see the green house along the tree line. It's nearly 100' long.

We have 5 turkeys left. These didn't grow as fast as the others so we are letting them get bigger.

I love how the photos get closer and closer. I was hoping for one more close up shot because I think I saw a fly on that turkeys head.
Anyway, The tractors look real good, you can the the brown grass as they move northward. Anymore problems with predators?

Hello Toongoon,
Thanks for the comment.

The important thing for the chicken tractors is that they function well. With so much to do around here I want to be able to take care of them efficiently without it taking a long time.

Nope, haven't had anymore predator problems since last year. And I'm thankful for that! And hopefully now with our Kangal Dog those problems will be even fewer.

Hey, Ive got something here that belongs to you. They just kinda blew right in with a Dust storm, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I finally figured out my password and I expect to be adding to the conversation a little more frequently. I have a new found love of commenting on blogs. But I'm wondering, did you know who I was when you first saw my comment or have you figured it out even now? Hmmm, seems I'm having trouble with my password again.....

Well, about time. That Kangal dog you got is pretty cool. Gotta be a lot more useful than Apollo. The trees here are just turning in past week, looks like yours are turned. Does it concern that you have yogi and Boo-Boo runnin around wild when you're out back? I saw some photos at the border where they had a bunch of shots of owls, coyotes And other animals at a watering thing for cattle, and then a large group of illegals coming across the border.

Toongoon,
Does your daughter know you refer to her as a "Dust storm", if I'm catching your drift correctly? Yeah, she probably does.

Yes, it bothers me a little with Yogi and Boo-Boo out there, I watch over my shoulder A LOT more now. But, then again they've been there all along, we only just recently caught them in pictures. However I'm pretty sure there are more out there now than there was 10 or 20 years ago. I take Arie with me when ever I can. She can’t do much now but, she is alert and barks ferociously at anything she see’s as a threat. Hopefully Yogi and Boo-Boo would be perceived as a threat. But, I’m pretty sure they would be.

That must have been kind of funny seeing those pictures you refered to at the watering thing.
